I’ve already subscribed and tested it myself and honestly, the results are very far from what’s shown in the campaign videos. It’s quite disappointing. I’ve used almost every major AI video platform out there, and I don’t understand why Runway still feels stuck at this level. The gap between the demo videos and the real, everyday output is too big. What’s advertised feels polished and cinematic, but what users actually get is inconsistent and often underwhelming. This mismatch creates false expectations and erodes trust, especially for creators who rely on these tools professionally. I believe the platform has potential, but right now the priority shouldn’t be marketing polish, it should be closing the gap between demos and real world results. If the core generation quality doesn’t improve, no amount of promotion will fix that perception.
