Bitcoin made money digital. Zcash made money private. COTI makes all money private and programmable. Public chains are a glass box. Every balance, every transfer, every counterparty is visible to anyone who looks. That works for speculation. It does not work for money. COTI invented the first private chain with smart contracts. Introducing COTI 2.0 Private Programmable Money COTI shifts into its next phase, with a new website to match. > Same foundation. Bolder vision. 1. The Vision The world's money will soon move the way information does, on open networks. But those networks are public, and nobody wants to run their finances in public. COTI is now critically tasked with changing that. Its mission is to make private programmable money the global standard, so institutions, businesses, developers and individuals can hold, move and settle value on public blockchains, confidentially. COTI exists to champion this cause. 2. The Foundation Since 2017, COTI has built the privacy technology this next phase runs on. It was the first network to run garbled circuits in production, computing directly on encrypted data so inputs stay encrypted from submission to settlement. Its institutional-grade technology has been developed across leading institutions: 1. European Central Bank 2. Bank of Israel 3. Input Output Global (IOG) 3. Privacy-on-Demand Privacy-on-Demand serves as COTI's privacy layer for other blockchains. It allows applications to keep their users and assets on their existing chain, while COTI handles the private computation. Avalanche was the first network to bring it to production. Since September 17, applications on Avalanche have been computing on confidential data, and users have been shielding AVAX and USDC through the Privacy Portal. Expansion to further networks is a core part of the roadmap. 4. New Products At the centre of COTI 2.0 are two new products, designed to keep transactions private when moving money between blockchains, and when spending it in day to day life. 1. Interphase - The flagship. It serves as the global privacy layer for moving assets between blockchains, and executing confidential, unlinked transfers across 30+ major networks. 2. COTI Global - A new central application, which allows COTI to be spent as a privacy payment rail for everything in day to day life. 5. What's Next The new website and public roadmap are the first of several major upgrades coming this month.

COTI Powers Privacy on Every Chain Avalanche was the first network to bring Coti's Privacy-on-Demand to production. Since September 16, applications on Avalanche have been computing on confidential data, and users have been shielding AVAX and USDC through the Privacy Portal. Expansion to further networks is a core part of our roadmap. > 1. The Privacy Requirement Institutions are bringing real assets on-chain. On a public chain, every position and payment is visible to anyone, competitors included. Confidentiality is necessary before that capital can scale. Until now, privacy meant leaving for a separate chain, and taking their capital with them. Privacy-on-Demand allows institutions to stay on yours. 2. Understanding COTI Privacy-on-Demand Privacy-on-Demand is creating a privacy layer for every chain. Shield, trade, and settle to pay, bid, and vote privately, without leaving the network. It is the next joint frontier in the privacy and institutional finance markets, and an embodiment of the confidentiality of finance tied with the liquidity of the chains people already use.

Confidential Layer is proud to be the first project built on the revolutionary Bridgeless blockchain. Bridgeless is achieving what was once thought impossible: bridging assets from programmable chains like EVM, Solana, and Cosmos to non-programmable blockchains like Bitcoin or privacy chains. By building on Bridgeless, Confidential Layer leverages its advanced technology to deliver truly seamless cross-chain transactions and make privacy accessible to all.

TL;DR - Privacy on public blockchains has historically been fragmented and episodic. Umbra introduces persistent, expressive privacy by default. - Umbra is a private financial layer on Solana, enabling private transfers, swaps, balances, and yield within a continuous shielded environment. - Umbra combines client-side zero-knowledge proofs for anonymity with MPC for confidentiality - MPC enables confidential balances via Encrypted Token Accounts (ETAs), hiding balances and transfer amounts - Privacy strength depends not only on cryptography, but on anonymity set size and user behavior. - Umbra treats anonymity sets as a first-class metric and designs the product to minimize behavioral privacy failures. - A multi-purpose shielded pool allows funds to remain private across transfers, swaps, and yield, compounding privacy over time. - The Umbra SDK allows wallets and applications to integrate private transfers, swaps, and balances, feeding activity into a shared shielded pool. - Swaps execute via public liquidity venues while identity, balances, and intent remain unlinkable. - Users can earn yield on shielded assets, incentivizing longer time in the private environment. - Umbra mitigates exit-related privacy risks through product design, including anonymity indicators, configurable unshielding delays, and confidential balances. - UTXO-based shielded systems suffer from performance decay as balances fragment into many notes over time, increasing scan and aggregation costs. - Umbra eliminates this bottleneck by consolidating balances into Encrypted Token Accounts (ETAs), using UTXOs only at the anonymity boundary. The result is encrypted balances with stable, high-performance transfers even as activity scales. - Compliance is addressed through proactive screening against risk databases and opt-in selective disclosure via read-only viewing keys. - Umbra was launched via MetaDAO as an ownership coin, with governance and economic policy determined by token holders through futarchy. - Umbra is not a mixer or a single feature, but a sovereign privacy domain with its own private state and internal economy. - Umbra is Hopecore for Privacy. Thank you all for reading!

Introducing USTX. The native stablecoin of the tx ecosystem will launch in October. USTX is issued on tx chain and built for what comes next: tokenized stocks, ETFs, and other real-world assets, providing stable liquidity on their native chain. Why a natively issued stablecoin? Tokenized markets are only as strong as the liquidity behind them. Today much of that liquidity sits in USDC, spread across many networks. USTX concentrates it into one native balance on tx, acting as a settlement layer for assets issued there. In traditional markets, trading and settlement are separate processes. On-chain, the asset and the payment can move together, and a native stablecoin allows that process to scale efficiently. USTX is one of the final additions before the tx marketplace goes live: a simple way to bring dollars onto tx and use them across the assets issued there. For issuers and traders, that means deeper liquidity in one place. For the ecosystem, it means the foundation is set for those assets to arrive. Fully backed 1:1 and issued by brale in partnership with tx.

Let’s dive into how the Confidential Layer Bridge launch will unfold - and why the phased approach benefits you as a user. Stage 1 - EVM + BTC Bridging Initially, you will be able to bridge between EVMs, Bitcoin, and the Zano privacy blockchain. This major milestone enables you to upgrade your crypto to unlock DeFi opportunities and privacy enhancements. Stage 2 - Cross-Chain Swaps of Native Assets Thanks to the development of our own Transaction Bundler, you will be able to pick a native asset on the source chain and receive a different native asset on the destination chain - all in a seamless, user-friendly way. Stage 3 - Ecosystem Token Bridging The addition of $CLONE to the bridge will mark the official start of DEX trading. At this stage, $CLONE will become omni-chain, allowing you to choose where you want to trade it. Stage 4 - Addition of New Blockhains We’re not stopping there. With the foundation set, we’ll continue integrating more and more blockchains - opening new possibilities for you. The next major additions will be TON 💎 and Solana, both scheduled for Q3 2025. This step-by-step rollout keeps the bridge stable, liquid, and constantly expanding. Stay tuned for the first stage - and every new chain that follows. You can learn more about the Confidential Layer Bridge launch in this Discord announcement:

SONIC HITS $5.5 BILLION USDC BRIDGED THROUGH CIRCLE'S CCTP As announced by Sonic itself, some $5.48 billion worth of $USDC has been bridged to its network through Circle's CCTP. Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) is a secure, permissionless on-chain utility that enables native USDC to move across different blockchain networks by burning it on the source chain and minting it 1:1 on the destination chain. The milestone is a bullish one for Sonic itself, with stablecoins praised as perhaps the most promising sector in the blockchain industry right now.
