Paid partnership with ApexTraderFunding These are 3 things every futures trader needs to know before they jump in. Number 1: understand the contract. Futures are not stocks. Every contract has its own tick size, margin requirements, trading hours, and risk profile. You need to know what you are actually trading. Number 2: respect leverage. Futures can move fast, and leverage can work both ways. That means risk management cannot be an afterthought. It has to be part of the process from the beginning. Number 3: trade with rules. In prop trading, rules matter. Apex Trader Funding is a prop firm focused on futures trading, and that world requires discipline, structure, and consistency. That is exactly why education matters. Wall Street Global Trading Academy built a futures course for traders who want to better understand the market before taking the next step. Because trading is not about guessing, It is about preparation, process, and respecting the risk. Futures trading involves significant risk and is not suitable for all investors. This content is for informational and educational purposes only and is not investment advice or a recommendation to trade. Apex accounts may involve simulated trading, rules, fees, eligibility requirements, drawdowns, and risk controls. There is no guarantee of funding, payouts, profits, account approval, or trading success.
