Unlike LLMs, Morpheus-1 is not prompted with words and sentences but rather brain states. And instead of generating words, Morpheus-1 generates ultrasonic holograms for neurostimulation to bring one to a lucid state.

Morpheus-1 is a 103 million parameter transformer model trained on 8 GPUs for 2 days. We engineered this from scratch and filed a provisional utility patent application.

Nearly all transcranial focused ultrasound researchers operate in some fashion where they collect fMRI, use statistic analysis (linear regressions) or elementary ML to identify targets, and select the most significant, failing to capture the full picture of neural activity.

We equate this statistical paradigm to playing and holding one note on a trumpet. We want to create a symphony of neural activity. This is the first model that can fully utilize the capabilities offered by multi-element tFUS and create symphonies.

We call it Morpheus-1 because, in greek mythology, Morpheus is the god of dreams. He is often depicted as a messenger of the gods, delivering messages through dreams, particularly those related to human emotions and experiences.

Our beta program starts this spring. Sign up here and be one of the first to step foot in the dreamworld:

Since the beginning, Prophetic’s mission has been to give humanity the tools to explore and expand consciousness. Morpheus-1 is a leap forward in that mission, moving us closer to ultrasonically inducing conscious experiences on-demand and changing the world forever.

If this does everything you say it will do, it will change the world in ways we can’t even imagine. At some point, you will be able to guide these dreams, and output the most incredible forms of creative human expression that no gen ai platform could ever hope to compete with

Considering that the Sleep/REM phase acts as a repair tool for brain functions, how could an artificially induced state affect an individual negatively? Has there been a study on the impact of such induction on brain synapses?
