Introducing Native Resolution, the first VFX Week drop, plus two new IC-LoRAs: Refine and Restore. Native Resolution runs AI edits on 4K and 8K footage and long shots. Overlapping tiles keep the fine detail, all on a single GPU. 🧵

Refine is for footage you've upscaled. Push an HD shot to 8K and a standard resize leaves the image soft. Refine generates the fine detail the shot should have at 8K, without drifting from the source. Use it when a shot has to meet a higher delivery spec.

Restore is for archival footage. Take a 540p clip to 4K. Restore enhances color and adds a clean, sharp finish, as if the footage came off a modern digital camera. Refine keeps a shot faithful to the source. Restore changes the look intentionally.

Resize HD footage to 8K and the image comes out soft. @heydoughogan runs an HD loom plate through our Native Resolution workflow instead. LTX-2.5 takes the plate to 8K in overlapping tiles and generates the fine detail, then the 8K EXR goes into Nuke. Full conversation Friday.

The thread has the workflow and IC-LoRA weights. How are you checking detail consistency where tiles meet across frames?

All of these 3D objects were generated entirely via AI (each from a single image) and the results are reaching exceptional levels of detail and fidelity. • Voxel Resolution: 1536^3 • Texture Resolution: 4096*4096 Pretty incredible stuff.

✨ I increased the max resolution for my open-source upscaler to 20,000 x 20,000 pixels (or 400 megapixels) 🤯 This makes it by far the highest resolution AI upscaler available It takes 26 minutes to run on an A100 GPU 80GB and produces a 100MB JPG file 😱 The higher upscale resolution is possible because I am running a second replicate model now which runs on a larger GPU with 80GB VRAM I would like to increase the resolution even higher but it runs out of VRAM for higher resolutions which I might be able to fix by changing the tiling settings 🛠️ My code is open-source, and I also host a very easy-to-use version on my website Clarity AI, where users can upscale anything between 2 and 20,000 pixels now

Someone says he built a native Metal renderer for Minecraft, plus a shader designed for it, crediting Claude Opus and Astra for help. → The shader adds volumetric fog, dynamic lighting and water reflections → He says it runs at 60fps at full retina resolution on a 5-year-old MacBook → Minecraft Java normally renders through OpenGL, which Apple deprecated on Mac in 2018 → He built it because shaders have long made Minecraft laggy on Mac Credits: Richard Qi 🐟
