The objective was clear: listen, align, and build the foundations of a structured and competitive video-game industry in Algeria. This year, we will launch Fiber Game, Algeria’s first major national e-sports and gaming event, to position our country on the continental and international gaming map, attract global players, and unlock local talent. Starting February 5, Algérie Télécom will upgrade its Fiber Gamers offer, delivering higher speeds, improved quality of service, and lower latency. Africa’s gaming market reached $1.8B in 2024 and is expected to exceed $3.5B by 2027–2029.
