using name duet just gain more stars, but that project exists even before duet was publish lol ... get a life bro

open source clone shipped before the launch tweet cooled down lol

Indeed open-source for the win

the read boundary moves with the engine, not with your policy: a fallback only has to cover "tools and approvals when the turn has tools", so one rate-limited turn can run where reads are silent.

Not sure what that means

I believe you have used claude motion design , hyperframes , to build this launch video . ?

Yes that is right

Nice one

the approval card shows what your app can see, not everything the agent touched, and that set is a property of the engine you picked. three kinds reach the gate: commands, file writes, MCP calls (backend/app/services/codex_adapter.py:662, :669, :687). a read never does. your own note says it plainly: "its read-only sandbox lets it read files anywhere on disk without asking; Claude's ask mode asks about reads outside the workspace." so the same conversation on Claude+ask puts reads outside the workspace on a card; the same conversation on Codex in plan mode reads the disk without one. a rate limit can also move a turn between engines - what a fallback has to cover is "tools and approvals when the turn has tools" (docs/ENGINES.md) - and the switch is announced, but the read boundary changes with it. two ways to close it, each changing something different: (a) make the card complete - have the engine report the reads it made and record them the way file changes are recorded, so the audit trail changes and the engine interface grows; (b) leave the card alone and print the approval surface per engine next to the capability table, so the UI changes and the engine interface does not. read from the public repo; I did not run any of it.

That was fast

didn't waste a second releasing this!!! damnn

AI has levelled up the field for everyone

On it 🫡

@mynameisyahia looks like it got released before lunch

@bot va checker

sure.. 🤦♂️

Wasn't this called Open Dots just a few days back?

Yes it has same functionality as Dots, Muse, Grok bot, Instinct and Duet

Open-source is awesome. We actually covered what goes into Duet in our official launch post here:

Hey, lets collab on adding it to

Wtf man, just for engagements and some impressions.... Make some real thing.

It is real, have you checked the repo

Open source agents are exciting, especially with user control. How reliable is it for everyday workflows?

Hundreds of users already using on regular basis

we can really reverse engineer anything huh

whats the difference of using this and remote control?

It's same functionality but you own the infra

Common now .... Already ... It's not yet even completely out What really does this "open source" version and a product that isn't fully released do?
