Today is the final day of Jay Cook's tenure at Jersey Sports Zone. Over the past seven years, Jay has been one of New Jersey's most influential journalists with his storytelling and incredible eye for shining the spotlight on countless athletes around the state. We are sad to see Jay leave us and wish him and his family the best in the future. JSZ will work hard every day to maintain the standard that Jay created in covering high school sports in New Jersey. At a time when the Secretary of Defense is sidelining and diminishing the contributions of women in the military, this recognition carries even greater significance. New Jersey will continue to honor the women who have served our nation with courage, broken barriers, led with distinction, and strengthened our armed forces.
