The useful benchmark isn’t the launch; it’s workflow impact. My test: by Dec. 31, one launch partner reports ≥30% faster contract review, regulatory monitoring, credit analysis or reconciliation. Outcome + source + cutoff makes the claim auditable.

It looks like Gemini is flipping us the middle finger but ok

AI is getting increasingly specialized 👀🔥 Financial services and legal work both demand far more than generic answers, domain-specific workflows, context, and accuracy are where enterprise AI can really prove its value. 🤖📊⚖️

I haven't used Gemini Enterprise for Legal. The research I run is IAJUS. Official Brazilian sources, origin links. More than 31 million acórdãos and more than 2 million statutes from União, states and municipalities. Plugin and MCP so the model doesn't invent case law. I already add that research as a plugin inside ChatGPT, Claude and Grok, and as MCP in Codex. GPT-5.6 Sol max for the long jobs. WhatsApp and email too. The plugin is at If Gemini Enterprise takes the same kind of plugin or MCP for case law, that's the slot.

We need gemini to work more pragmatically for developers. Right now, you're losing in that space.

Is there something coming for Educators and PhD Researchers as well, like this, a general thing that will cater to the entire fraternity? 🤔

I think Google is making a very clear vertical move here, and we actually covered both industry launches in one place here:

good move going industry specific, legal and finance teams need tools built for their exact workflows

Industry solutions become meaningful when domain expertise, trusted data, and accountable workflows come together. That is how AI moves from a general capability to measurable value for customers and teams.

Not a single eval in sight for financial services...come on, you're so much better than that. Great to see you moving into enterprise finance so deliberately, but to displace Anthropic here, you've got to give people a reason to move. No evals = no reason to move.

Does the legal one actually know legal stuff? Or is it just gemini with a different name.

Amazing

Domain-specific skills are where the generic models usually fall apart

Gemini enterprise pricing is $49/user/month. you're paying 0.7x the cost of an analyst to automate their job out by q3. buy it for the margin or sell the team? same answer either way

Domain-specific skills still require fine-tuning on private datasets to avoid hallucinated regulations.

domain skills are secondary if source permissions leak across legal matters

Model intelligence is becoming table stakes. The moat is boring: permissions, proprietary data, domain skills and audit trails. In finance, the winner won’t be the smartest chatbot. It’ll be the agent compliance actually lets touch production.

This is where enterprise AI gets serious: domain skills, governed connectors and traceable outputs. The chatbot layer was never going to be enough for legal work.

The immediate disruption may be billing, not headcount. If document review and first drafts collapse from hours to minutes, clients will question why the invoice still reflects the old workflow. Legal AI has to prove accuracy, but pricing pressure arrives first.
