1. All New UI Focused on minimalism, it stays out of the way as much as possible, while letting you explore more powerful features when needed.

2. Home Server You can now turn your Pinokio into a home server, with one click.

3. Process Monitor Normally when running AI apps, you watch the task manager/activity monitor to check system usage. But when multiple processes are running, you can't tell which process is for which app. The process monitor shows you CPU, VRAM, RAM, disk usage per app, LIVE.

4. Autolaunch Now you can make any app auto-launch when Pinokio starts, with 1 click.

5. Orchestration What if app A depends on app B — you want launching A to auto-trigger B, wait for it to finish, then launch itself? Now possible with any app in Pinokio. Here we launch a web app that depends on ComfyUI. It first launches ComfyUI, then launches itself.

6. One click help Until now, troubleshooting/debugging has been too convoluted. You had to download logs and share on Discord, all manually. P8 fixes this: 1-click post an auto-generated log report to the community site, or 1-click launch any AI agent in the "Ask AI" sidebar.

7. Faster A lot of speed improvements and optimization. There were some unnecessary disk scans when you launch Pinokio as well as when visiting each page. Now gone and much faster.

8. End-to-End Open License Despite Pinokio itself being 100% open source, one licensing hole remained among the package managers used by Pinokio: Miniconda, with Anaconda's restrictions on team/business use. P8 migrates to Miniforge. Finally 100% open license, end to end.

Very impressive @cocktailpeanut , your program has gotten so much bigger and better in scope over the year. Clearly you are putting a lot of work into it. I use it often to try new installs and WanGP, face fusion, gsplat stuff.

Thank you! great to hear. gsplat has been having a renaissance, so many things coming out but been busy with pinokio 8, but now that i have some more time, will check out some of them to see what can be easily turned into launchers
