Hog Code

A little biased but this sounds like the future of building software

Convince me that this is better than just using Claude Code with PostHog MCP

@ycombinator “What’s your AI coding tool of choice? Cursor? Claude Code? OpenCode?” “Oh, I use PostHog Code” 😮

was just thinking about this. would be cool to have it autonomously run product experiments with clear goals on improving specific metric or smth

we think the same. we're not there yet, but look out for more announcements soon that will open the path toward this (hopefully!)

🙏

You can just meep things.

this is sick, rooting for you posthog against the big guys

meep

@james406 it’s this is brilliant. would love to use asap as a tester

This is neat, and there's this strange convergence of issue trackers and product analytics suites now. Like linear is trying to do some of this but it doesn't have the saw starter and you're going to do it but you're not exactly an issue tracker I feel like this is the winner.

@james406 @chrissyinspace good timing to start using 📸🍆

@james406 @chrissyinspace "📸🍆" is nasty work

PostHog, the agentic code editor?

skeptical, but I might give it a shot

"Meep indeed" 😂

Meep

wow

@yo_puaaa Uhh @yo_puaaa can I get bumped in the list? 😅

@ycombinator PH is prob my favorite product in our stack after Codex.

Why does your mobile site scroll up and down randomly while I’m trying to read it?

this gonna be revolutionary

Really like you webpage btw! Whoever created this, mega thumbs up!

Product-aware code editor is the right framing—most code agents are blind to actual usage. Real test is whether the PR triage agrees with your on-call's hot path or just chases issue volume.

meep indeed

VERY smart extension of your product metrics suite - looking forward to this.

meeping

Can't wait to try this out!

@ycombinator Well didn’t see that coming

this is a bold move, eager to see results

Congrats See you're taking some inspiration from us

This is going to be awesome for the sheet feedback loop its self. Not just the product, but the marketing, etc

Is everybody building the same thing?

How does it prioritize which bugs to fix first?

a bit more color on this on our blog:

Put me on the waitlist 🙌

self-improving software, meep
