Introducing: Project Amadeus The largest open world UEFN experience ever made, at over 330+ Square Kilometers, a scale incomprehensible and exceeding most modern open world games. In 2027 you will depart into a world that explores the Kingdom of the Ageless, the origin of The Citadel, The Oathbound, and... many other factions, preceding the events of the current Fortnite Story. A world that will be built to carry the weight of environmental story telling, and push the boundaries of creativity within the limits of UEFN. All for free within Fortnite. Yeah i expected the terrain quality to look awful for such a huge map lol...

it will get better. Its all incredibly early. A lot of it is left unfinished on purpose until the areas are blocked out

This seems like a possibly very messy idea, but couldnt you create multiple landscapes in good quality and try to stitch them together? It would be a hell to make but turn out good.

nah. the method used to even allow this in UEFN doesnt work with that. It will look good in the end, trust, lots of meshes are getting used. Artistic direction is important, and when its done, it will not matter anymore

this landscape is already 8kx8k resolution which like 4x the size UEFN allows you to make by default. This is not a default UEFN landscape just scaled up. This is a REAL open world game landscape imported from UE5

@ValeriaaFN This map will need ridiculous playtesting, even with no gameplay. The playtests will not be done in BiomeForge as this is under Admiration Studios, a team directed by me. I will announce when we need people to playtest, but this map will be kept incredibly secret

Looks good but remember, a big map with the depth of a pond isn't that good. I hope it will be full of things to do and places to see and characters to interact with :D

The map will have a long term roadmap of content, similar to something like No Mans sky. But there wont be a shortage of things to see on release

Peak dude One question is how will you handle performance? Especially on the PS4 and Xbox one. Also I wish i'd make a map like you one day I have the dedication but not the tools

Xbox One and PS4 run this at 50-60fps, its been tested. A lot of optimization work is going into this, the same as Hyperion.
