I have an acquaintance who is sort of related by marriage who has worked for the “State Department” for decades ~ I can recall her at a family event 10 years ago, viewing a live event happening in Africa that she was in charge of . When I asked her what it was about ~ her response was “we’re promoting our influence on this country” in other words we’re influencing these poor Africans to our way of thinking. I felt disgust ~
