We began as a French student's idea for a tool to speculate on DeFi interest rates. It then quickly became a full-scale company focused on an advanced interest rate derivatives protocol. However, the name APWine no longer reflects the nature of the solutions we're building.

Spectra better represents the open protocol and long-term vision, which is also easier to remember. This day marks a new chapter on our journey and introduces a long-missing piece of DeFi.

Spectra is an evolution of existing DeFi infrastructure, empowering users with permissionless functionalities such as 🟢 Fixed Rates (Discounted Assets) 🟢 Variable Rates (Yield Trading) 🟢 Upfront Yield 🟢 Yield Market 🟢 LP Vault Model 🟢 Lending/Borrowing

We're sharing below a rough timeline for the Spectra ecosystem. Keeping in mind the dynamic nature of the industry, note that these milestones are flexible and not strictly sequential.

Along with all these changes, our token is also getting a fresh, new look. Rest assured, $APW remains the backbone of the protocol with new fee models underway.
