Introducing stablecoin subscriptions: now live in Polygon OMS. A subscription shouldn’t ask your customer to sign the same payment every month. Let them approve once, setting the amount, scope, and schedule. The wallet handles the repeat payments.

Until now, recreating a familiar subscription experience with stablecoin wallets has been difficult. A non-custodial wallet should require owner’s approval before money moves. That works for one-off payments, but not when someone has to sign the same payment every month.

Stablecoins become more useful when they fit into the products people already use. With recurring payment rules, businesses can offer subscriptions, memberships, and account plans in their app, without sending customers to a separate payment flow. More:

Recurring payments are one part of a bigger flow: money comes in, lands in a wallet, pays for a subscription, then moves where it needs to go. The Open Money Stack connects the pieces through one API. Start building:

Can I cancel from the wallet, or does that still happen through the merchant?

This is a big step for real-world stablecoin payments. 🚀 One-time approval + automated recurring payments could make subscriptions much smoother on-chain. Polygon OMS is moving stablecoins closer to everyday payment infrastructure. 🔥

Great video!

Approve once, then let the wallet handle the schedule. This is the kind of UX improvement stablecoin payments need to compete with traditional subscriptions.

Wow 🤩

Build.

Recurring pull was always the missing rail, not the transfer itself. The open question is dunning: cards claw back a lot of failed renewals through retries and account updater, an empty wallet just fails silently. Whoever ships retry logic onchain owns subscriptions.

finally feels like web2

finally cutting out that repetitive signing friction is huge for ux

The signing friction was never the real barrier Getting users to approve once is solvable. Getting merchants to rebuild billing infrastructure around stablecoin rails is the actual problem nobody's demoing

finally some sane ux

stablecoin payments getting easier
