So how would a terminal mac in a terminal mac in a terminal mac in a terminal mac … work?

this is a demo of claude using terminal-mac

repo:

agent got its own mac before i did

Does this count as tui or gui

does this work on apple's VM framework ryt ?

This 🙌🏼

how is the macos guest running under the hood, apple's virtualization framework? and how heavy is it on ram once an agent is working inside?

This is super cool, definitely gonna try it, great work!

that's cool as fuck how did you do this? i assume real macOS virtualization hooked up to kitty graphics protocol?

we spent decades escaping vms just to build them for agents

Now you can run terminal inside that.

Giving the agent its own Mac is the right instinct. Letting it click around in my real one is where I always hesitate. Is it a full VM per session, or snapshots you can roll back?

But you need a mac to run this, so whats the point

Nice video editing 💯

wtf

不用和 agent 抢鼠标这点就很香。任务跑坏了,能直接回到之前的快照吗?

that means two mac running at the same time

Will try!! 🤩

Resource efficiency left the chat

Giving agents terminal access is powerful until a stray command drops a folder. 😬

I’m scared and idk why

Looks interesting and cool

this is insane

Woah thisxis sick

why is everything everything

crazzy, gonna try

Pretty dope

interesting. how much resources intensive is this??

Interesting...would like to see a stats comparison to say onboard VM running MacOS.

what should I do with this? Give me some tasks and I will do those.

excuse me

Wait

Thats actually insane

The real constraint isn't the terminal wrapper, it's Virtualization.framework: macOS guests only run on Apple Silicon hosts, so this can't live on your Linux CI box. Fine for local agent sandboxing, useless for server-side fleets.
