I love AI Studio, but in vibe coding, the real challenge is integration — things like database setup, file storage, authentication, and API building. If we could include all of these seamlessly, it would be an incredible tool. Google already has another product, Firebase Studio, and if we can incorporate that, it could become the best AI coding platform.

@ai_appeciator @GoogleAIStudio i'm consistently surprised by just how good 2.5 pro is right now, new models are great but you can get a lot out of this experience today

@GoogleAIStudio Agree that 2.5 Pro is an excellent and capable model. Despite its age (ik, ik), it’s still competitive with GPT-5 Thinking (High) / Grok 4 / Sonnet 4.5 / Opus 4.1 at certain tasks. I just hate to spend time now to accomplish less than I could with same time post-G3mini.

it does not compete with sonnet 4.5/opus 4.1 when it comes to coding tasks which is what this entire thing is for. also gpt-5 high is currently the leader in coding still. I'm in the boat that I wouldn't even touch this new update until Gemini 3 preview is out; 2.5 is behind.

@OfficialLoganK @GoogleAIStudio Agree generally, but it does do some front-end and Unity stuff as well as the Anthropic models, which is why I said “certain tasks”. It also often handles long context better. I use Codex with GPT-5-Thinking (High) as daily driver.

@GoogleAIStudio Great to hear. I deleted that failed project, but I remember it had to do with asking it to modify the Gemini API call to include a few shot prompt for Nano Banana. From my experience, 2.5 Pro seems to not know the google-genai library.
