We rebuilt Kiyotaka for v4.0. Still 100% free to use for all chart enjoyers. This is the biggest product release we’ve shipped yet: a complete redesign, major UI/UX upgrades, new search, new chart types, better tooling, faster performance, new color themes, and a much improved execution interface. With more coming next week. But v4 is bigger than a feature drop. Kiyotaka now feels faster, clearer, and much more intentional to use. This marks a major turning point in how Kiyotaka works and where it’s going next.

🚀Thrilled to share what we’ve been building at TRI over the past several months: our first Large Behavior Models (LBMs) are here! I’m proud to have been a core contributor to the multi-task policy learning and post-training efforts. At TRI, we’ve been researching how LBMs can help robots learn faster, better, and more efficiently. The Visual Studio Code insiders version that just shipped and will ship in the next few days will come with an insane amount of new capabilities. A few highlights: - You can now run sub-agents in parallel. Yes, really. I even attached a video. - Major UX improvements for sub agents, especially visible in the chat window - A new search tool wrapped as a sub-agent that iteratively runs multiple search tools: semantic_search, file_search, grep_search Which connects nicely to the point above: multiple searches running in parallel, efficiently and fast - Anthropic’s Message API is now enabled by default - You can choose the model for the cloud agent (three available, all premium) - Extended thinking support when using the Claude cloud agent This is part of the broader multi-vendor cloud support under AgentsHQ I wrote about a few weeks ago - Tasks sent to the background agent (basically the CLI tool) now always run in isolation, each with its own git worktree - In a multi-repo workspace, assigning a task to a cloud agent prompts you to choose the target repo Same behavior when opening an empty workspace with no repo - Support for building an external index for files not supported by GitHub’s default indexing - UI/UX improvements for starting new sessions and switching between local / background / cloud agents - Skills are now first-class citizens, just like prompt files, with better UX indicating when a skill is loaded - Improved API for dynamic contribution of prompt files New V2 includes skills as part of the model. Curious to see the extensions that will leverage this - Finally, initial support for showing context usage percentage per session - Skills are enabled by default - Resizable chat window and session view. What started as a small idea over a decade ago has grown to more than 11 trillion minutes of global listening this year alone, and a moment hundreds of millions of people screenshot, joke about (yes, even at our expense), and share every year. And this year’s experience is our biggest yet. I’m especially excited that for the first time, you’ll see your top album of the year. Fun fact: album listening on Spotify has increased nearly 35% on Spotify in 2025, compared to 2024 - very cool to see that growth. Huge thanks to the teams who bring this to life.

Introducing Kled Enterprise V2. We’ve officially migrated the majority of all of our enterprise contracts to not only include past catalogs but now future catalogs in their possessions. In other words Kled’s content library from some of the biggest holdings companies, orgs, and conglomerates now grows along side theirs. After this migration we have added over 300 titles, with tens of thousands of pieces of content coming our way progressively every day, month and year. Titles include: Al Capone, Fury, Mighty Mouse, Star Trek: The Animated Series, Atomic Train, Death Valley Days, Casper the Friendly Ghost, etc. We’ve attached a more complete list of content that was recently added as a result of our contract format to this thread. This new structure perfectly aligns with our vision that: companies should keep focusing on what they do best, creating great content or acquiring great content, while Kled focuses on what we do best, finding new ways to monetize their catalogs for the age of artificial intelligence.

“They didn’t teach me anything!” Want to evaluate the quality of your child’s preschool? You could hardly ask for a better endorsement than this one, captured at the end of a three-year-old’s first day of school. In fact, if you visit a classroom and find a preschool teacher lecturing - or children hunched over desks, all engaged in the same teacher-directed activity - run for the hills. That’s because young children don’t learn in the same way older children do. They learn through play. They learn through interaction. They learn through discovery and exploration; through trial and error. The best early childhood teachers are rarely the center of attention in their classrooms. They aren’t there to lecture and drill, but to observe, plan, guide, question, and support the needs of each individual child. Never confuse a lack of stereotypical “teaching” in these classrooms for a lack of LEARNING. Or rigor. Indeed, these child guided classrooms are learning laboratories second only to the home in terms of their life-changing potential. If your child doesn’t come home covered in paint once in a while, or with grass stains on their pants, you’ve probably chosen the wrong program.
