Before the opponent's attack stops, instantly counter with "meuchi" using the hand that received the attack. Simultaneously with executing "meuchi," counterattack with "chudan gyaku zuki." Katate yori nuki (Shorinji Kempo techniques) "Katate yori nuki" is a technique used when the opponent grabs and pulls your front hand. To avoid being overpowered by the pull, it is important to perform the correct "Kagite shuho." To make the opponent lean forward with "Shuto giri," you need to align the direction of the strike to the neck with the direction of your stepping knee. Beginners should step back immediately to ensure safety after releasing the hand with "Nukite" and performing "Kuma de uchi."
