Introducing Website to App. Turn any website into an native mobile app. Just paste a URL. Claude Opus 4.6 will code, design, launch and translate a mobile app inspired by the original website. We’ve been using this internally a ton for iOS/Android apps.

Watch as @shipper_now clones the X/Twitter website into a mobile app. Pretty crazy:

Let Shipper turn your website into a mobile app for $0.28 Powered by Claude Code Opus 4.6

Does it build in react native or does it just wrap it? This just seems like a reason for Apple to keep rejecting vibe coded apps.

Now I know why Apple keeps rejecting iOS apps alot now a days !!

Curious, for most small businesses, why not just have an optimized for Mobile Version of their website? Why the need to "app-ify" it. Genuinely pondering. Thanks

Which tool did you use to create the video?

Thank you for building something new

thanks mate!

pasting a URL and getting a native mobile app back sounds like a demo hack but the fact it handles translation too suggests this is production-grade. the 'turn websites into apps' category is going to be huge

Basically you’re saying Claude is doing the work, not your wrapper? Ngmi.

I've watched three founders waste 2-3 months building mobile apps before validating that anyone wanted the web version. If this gets a testable mobile surface in front of real users in day one, that's the actual value, not the app, but the speed of finding out if the app matters.

The bottleneck here is app store aporoval tho, no? I dont know why people dont just use PWA, so much easier

If it’s a native app and just not a web view container , who will do the plumbing for data fetch etc ?

cool demo but real value appears when it handles auth, offline state, payments

David, wait until Anthropic sees this. @AnthropicAI can we please release this for free in the next iteration

Isn’t this just turning into PWA?

@grok how can I make a video like this

Literally lies.

Bulllllllllshitttttt

So you know nothing about appstore approval process?

I am curious, does the mobile app output compile to native Swift/Kotlin or is it a WebView wrapper? Asking as a founder exploring mobile options

the App Store submission part is the bit that always kills me on side projects. if this handles all that boilerplate it's genuinely useful

How real is this

No trying to hate here I’m just being brutally honest because I have intimate knowledge but this will never fly in the App Store. Apple will 100% deny apps that serve as a copy of websites. Cool idea, and I think you might have an angle here but your pitch and USP is moot.

@SherifZaidan

Building the app was never the hard part. The real trap is distribution.

Wait what!!? I mean… what!!? I’ll be right back!

Okay, why didn't anyone think of this

App Store RIGHT NOW:

you can ?

👀

not a new thing. We are using similar thing for years and way cheaper.

Paste a URL → get a native mobile app. We really are living in the future. Claude Opus 4.6 is rewriting the rules of what's possible. The people paying attention right now will be miles ahead in 12 months 👀🔥

How did you make video presentation like this ?

So you and your brother market your product as the best thing since sliced bread when it's just another wrapper 🥱 Why don't you build something original that isn't predicated on cloning and copying others and using things that you didn't even build ? 🤔 Do better

Sick
