2/ At its core, Wormhole relays messages from one chain to another with verification provided by Guardians, a network of 19 node operators. With the "push" model, accessing data from Ethereum is costly and inefficient for apps requiring on-demand cross-chain state attestations.

3/ Wormhole Queries introduces a "pull" model where integrators submit query requests to the Wormhole Guardian network. The Guardians process these requests and publish the results, allowing for on-chain data verification and consumption.

4/ Wormhole Queries is specifically for pulling on-chain data and opens up new possibilities for blockchain developers, enhancing applications with capabilities like real-time cross-chain price feeds in DeFi and dynamic cross-chain game mechanics in gaming.

5/ Queries enables new use cases like: ✦ @JupiterExchange reading ETH/USDC price on @Ethereum. ✦ Offer lower borrow rates to @BNBCHAIN users, based on their Ethereum @Degenscore. ✦ Token gating a @solana game with an @Azuki held on Ethereum.

6/ Wormhole Queries also addresses fragmented digital identities across chains. It allows for a unified identity system, improving user experiences in DeFi and social platforms by enabling seamless cross-chain identity recognition.

7/ App developers can learn more about Queries on the product page, and sign up to join the beta:

8/8 Wormhole Queries is an on-demand, secure, inexpensive, and decentralized method for immediate data retrieval across chains. Read more about our new launch in the article below. ⬇️

Absolutely a great option for @planet_finance if any cross-chain expansions are made in the future. Quick, economical and efficient data queries 🔥

:P

you were on top of it ser 🫡
