Introducing wrun, OpenMarket’s alternative to TradingView’s Pine Script, built on open standards. Unlike TradingView’s proprietary language which only runs on their infrastructure, wrun uses an open language with familiar TypeScript syntax, compiles to WebAssembly, and runs directly in your browser at near-native speed. wrun can work with data Pine...

Beautiful -- but can you guys make it so that we can pull outside data into the charts? That's a huge annoyance of mine with TV's pinescript.

bullish on the fact that it runs directly in my browser at near-native speed

You deliver at the speed of light. I can barely ingest what you deliver 😲 .. Do not get mistaken; this is a compliment.

Really liking OpenMarket so far. Quick question: is there a way to display multiple EMAs at the same time, e.g. EMA 20 / 50 / 200? I can currently only find one EMA instance under Official indicators. Also, can the chart/indicator colors be customized somewhere? The current palette feels a little muted to me. Would love to make the candles/EMAs a bit more vivid. 👌

Yup, you can add multiple EMAs on the same chart with different settings. Most of the interface can be customized in however way you want. If there are parts we missed, let us know and we'll add it!

Can we code a bookmap style indicator with live visual order flow? Or if you have any existing indicators that do the same?

The browser-native WASM approach is compelling, especially if wrun can handle richer market data without sacrificing responsiveness.

Nice launch. Curious how you'll show options positioning. We went with a dealer map on the chart (KING / GATE / FLOOR + gamma flip), Pine v5/v6 compatible. Good to see this space opening up 🐝 !!

RustGIS is now on PyPI: pip install rustgis RustGIS is a fast, free and open-source GIS in pure Rust for mapping, analyzing and sharing geospatial data. It runs natively on Windows, macOS and Linux, and in your web browser. Your data stays on your machine unless you send it to an AI model you choose, and every action is a command you can script. The new rustgis Python package brings the RustGIS engine into Python and the full RustGIS app into your Jupyter notebook, with no server to run and nothing else to install. What you can do - The engine in-process: open the same data the app opens, run any of RustGIS's commands and geoprocessing tools, style layers and render maps, all from Python. - GeoPandas in and out: turn any layer into a GeoDataFrame, or add a GeoDataFrame as a layer. - The whole app in a notebook cell: shows the ribbon, panes and map right below your code. - Two-way sync: what Python adds or styles appears in the app, and what you pan, edit or add in the app comes back to Python. - Projects that travel: save a .rgis project from Python and open it as it is in the desktop app or the web app. - Runs where you work: JupyterLab, Jupyter Notebook, VS Code and Google Colab, with prebuilt wheels for Windows, macOS and Linux. Get started in three lines: import rustgis m = m Try it out - Open the getting-started notebook in Colab: - PyPI: - Python guide: - Launch the web app: - GitHub: #GIS #Rust #Python #Jupyter #OpenSource #Geospatial
