This is one of my favorite iPhone hacks and works surprisingly well! Let me share all the steps here so you exactly know how to do this too: 1. Open Settings → Accessibility. 2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Accessibility Shortcut. 3. Select VoiceOver (make sure it has a ✓ next to it). → This lets you triple-click the side button to quickly toggle VoiceOver on or off. 4. Open the Camera app and swipe to Video mode. 5. Triple-click the side button to turn on VoiceOver. (You'll hear VoiceOver speak when it's active.) 6. When ready, double-tap the Record button to start recording. (VoiceOver will say "Recording.") 7. Triple tap the display with three fingers. → The screen goes black, but your iPhone keeps recording in the background. 8. When you're done, triple tap the screen with three fingers again to wake the screen. 9. Double-tap the Record button to stop recording. 10. Replace sections of your songs 😎 Pro & Premier users can now change lyrics and add instrumental breaks like a guitar riff or drum break. How to use it: 1. Right-click on a song or click the vertical “...” to open the More Actions menu. 2. Go to Edit > Replace Section. 3. You’ll be taken into Edit Mode with the song. Select the song portion you wish to recreate (must be 10-30 seconds long). Lyrics (if present) will automatically be populated into the Lyrics box. 4. Update your lyrics if you wish, or try typing [drum break] 5. Click the “Replace Section” button. 6. Two versions will be generated. Listen to both and click “Select” on the one you prefer. 7. Once you select a section, you’ll be redirected to the Create page where a full song will begin generating automatically.

Read 100 paywalled research papers for free every month! You don't even need a university account to do this. Here's how to read paywalled papers on JSTOR for free: 1. Go to jstor(dot)org and click on "Register" in the top-right corner. You can register with your personal Google or Outlook account. Or, you can create a JSTOR account manually. 2. Once you've logged in to your JSTOR account, click on "Workspace" in the menu bar. Then click on "Create folder." Choose a name for your folder and click on "Create."Creating folders in Workspace is a great way to keep your papers organized. 3. Type in the keywords in the search bar to find relevant papers. JSTOR willl give you a list of papers. To read a paper for free, click on "Read online." You will see a preview of the paper. Scroll down a bit and click on "Read Online" again. 4. If you find the paper super-relevant to your project, click on "Save" on the top of the article. Choose the folder you just created in your Workspace and save the paper in it. If you go to your Workspace, the paper will show up in the relevant folder. 5. You can also take notes on papers in your Workspace. To do so, click on the "Add Note" button under a paper and start typing. Click on "Save" to your save your note. 6. If you already have a paper and you want to related to it, you can use Text Analyzer. To do so, click on "Tools" and select "Text Analyzer." Gemini for Android is here! This new app makes it easier to access Google's chatbot, powered by the Gemini Pro LLM, right from your Android device. You can ask Gemini a question by tapping the launcher icon or long-pressing the power button. Once invoked, the Gemini overlay lets you enter a text or text+image prompt. You can tap the camera icon to snap a photo or press the "add this screen" button to take a screenshot of the current page to include in your prompt. The Gemini app for Android is available on Google Play with support for English, but support for Korean and Japanese will be coming next week. While there won't be an app for iOS, iPhone users can access Gemini by opening the Google App and tapping the "Gemini" button up top. How can you long-press the power button to invoke Gemini if that gesture is handled by Google Assistant? The answer is that the Gemini Android app can replace Google Assistant as your default assistant if you want, meaning all the ways you'd normally invoke Google Assistant on your phone can instead invoke Gemini. Unfortunately, Gemini currently doesn't offer ALL the same functionality as Google Assistant and requires an active data connection, but more features will be added over time. There's also now a Gemini Advanced tier, which offers access to Google's most powerful Ultra 1.0 LLM. Access to Gemini Advanced requires a subscription to the new $20/month "AI Premium" Google One plan, which offers the same benefits as the 2TB plan but adds access to Gemini Advanced and soon Gemini features in Gmail, Docs, & other Workspace apps (formerly under the Duet AI umbrella). Gemini Advanced is available in English on the web.

The Gemini app for Android is available on Google Play with support for English, but support for Korean and Japanese will be coming next week. While there won't be an app for iOS, iPhone users can access Gemini by opening the Google App and tapping the "Gemini" button up top. How can you long-press the power button to invoke Gemini if that gesture is handled by Google Assistant? The answer is that the Gemini Android app can replace Google Assistant as your default assistant if you want, meaning all the ways you'd normally invoke Google Assistant on your phone can instead invoke Gemini. Unfortunately, Gemini currently doesn't offer ALL the same functionality as Google Assistant and requires an active data connection, but more features will be added over time. There's also now a Gemini Advanced tier, which offers access to Google's most powerful Ultra 1.0 LLM. Access to Gemini Advanced requires a subscription to the new $20/month "AI Premium" Google One plan, which offers the same benefits as the 2TB plan but adds access to Gemini Advanced and soon Gemini features in Gmail, Docs, & other Workspace apps (formerly under the Duet AI umbrella).
