Friends, do you know what India was called in ancient Chinese sources? ‘Tianzhu’. ‘Zhu’ means centre, like how we use ‘pur’ in names such as Nagpur, Raipur, Manipur to denote a place or centre. And the word ‘Tian’ means heaven or sky. So according to ancient Chinese understanding, India was the centre of heaven. Even the Japanese referred to India as ‘Tenshiku’, meaning the centre of heaven, the centre of knowledge. And even in the Arab world in the 8th, 9th and 10th centuries there were many historians such as Ibn Tasasin, Ibn Tabir, Ibn Khaldun who said that when they looked at India they felt a cool breeze of knowledge. So just think how big a thing it is that for centuries India was described around the world as a centre of knowledge and heaven. And now 2026 is here and you see what state we have brought knowledge and culture in our own country to. In the name of preserving culture there is fighting and hooliganism. I just don’t understand it. And what can you even say about knowledge today people’s minds seem to be going who knows where. Then we blame the government. It’s not that the government can’t do anything governments can do everything but if people’s thinking has gone back a thousand years what can the government do either.
