Investing in nuclear is a must, including small modular reactors. With Great British Nuclear, we can undo the baleful Luddite legacy of Labour - who did absolutely nothing to develop the energy security we need.

Your party’s held n°10 for more than 12 years and your copy of The Bluffer's Guide to Politics is wearing thin.

I remember you, you're the man that said there'd be a border down the Irish Sea "over my dead body". You promised us 40 new hospitals and 6000 more GP's. You said there were no parties in Downing Street during lockdown. A cheat and habitual liar. The worst PM in my lifetime.

Ah, look who's lying again? This is from 2009, just before you lot got in charge. Did you cry Labour's nuclear power plans lacked "democratic legitimacy" along with the other Tory MPs too?

@SimonClarkeMP Did the @Conservatives try to ‘undo’ the Labour nuclear plans in 2010? Or 2011? Or 2012? How about 2013, 14 or 15? 2016 maybe? No? Surely you started in 2017? 2018 and 2019 could have been prime nuclear years… We’ll give you a pass for 20/21 But you’ve had more than a decade!!!

This you trying to look relevant after your “no border in the Irish Sea deal” has been ditched? Labour passed the Tories a platform to move nuclear fuel forward and you’ve done nothing in 13 years. Except of course scrap gas storage. Sit down and be quiet

Labour were developing clean energy which had no imported fuel requirements which your government then put a stop to. Had it continued, we wouldn't have even noticed the increase in fuel prices on our energy bills. Also, who was in power for 12 years before this idea for nuclear?

Labour was in power 13 years and failed to complete any new nuclear power plants. Conservatives have been in power 13 years and have failed to complete any new power plants. Spot the difference?
