I wish they would bring back the chromatic aberration

The chromatic aberration looks gorgeous if you ask me, also gives the toggle more vibrancy :(

ios 27 is a downgrade in everything but stability

The dark outline really helps sell that 'liquid' look more so I hope it stays

Meanwhile in the Clock app:

Meanwhile this is how it actually is within the system (iOS 26.5). Also some switches have different animations or no animations at all.

You show a visual but then stick a watermark behind it? Okay. You couldn’t find a single other place for it?

Didn’t realize that they refined the toggles! It actually looks so much more glassy now! Also the weird black edge at the top left is finally gone!

Utterly useless animation on a phone that you can already use as a stove

One day, all my problems will be gone, so I can sit down and meticulously compare toggle switches across different versions of iOS

Even though Steve Lemay wanna have his own credit, I really love Alan Dye liquid glass. It’s feels like u touch a glass with liquid, icon, the shadow under all the glass. Not flatten all material to make it look like glass

I wish they could remove this silly effect because it is useless and not how a switch is intended to work IRL

good thing you can see anything from that watermark
