That's ugly. 🤣 I already hated foldables. But, this one is worse than the others. Where's the iPhone that looks like an iPhone? Please, show me the 18 Pro and Pro Max! Or, whatever their name will be. ☺️

It looks good but at the same time it looks too big to use with one hand only.

Are there people that actually thinks this looks good? Genuinely, I would like to know. The shape is ugly, the phone is bulky, and there is going to be little to no benefits of the bigger screen on an IOS device.

I wish they did matte on both screens. Worried it’ll bother me that one is glossy and the other matte.

I hope you can move the dock, if you’re someone who uses their phone with their left hand, you’re screwed.

There was a time foldable phones were real practical devices. No cases needed and they fit right into your pocket

How come @Apple makes a foldable phone and iOS does not support multitasking, dual apps, etc.?

The biggest disappointment for me is that it can't run iPadOS apps. Meaning no apps like DaVinci Resolve or any other iPad only apps.

I wonder if you can switch the dock to the left for us left handed folks

Hats off to apple, they often nail first gen devices as they let the competitors work out the bugs first

The 2,000 USD starting price converts to Rs 1.76 lakh, but expect it to cross Rs 2 lakh once India taxes are applied. Does a folding screen justify paying double the cost of an 18 Pro, or are you just buying a beta test for Apple?

I mean you can still see the crease so it isn't any better than any other foldable out there. Apple fanboys will buy it and pretend they re-invented the wheel again though

It’s esim only, and has the camera hidden under display. Two non-negotiable in terms of privacy and freedom in today’s surveillance driven world.

The first foldable phone that’s actually worth buying.

There are something’s that don’t need reinventing. And the dock was one of them. Putting it at the bottom makes it universally accessible and also makes it look cleaner. The ui looks like too much going on. Nothing was wrong with the regular WiFi, battery and network icon as is.
