🟥WATCH🟥 Analyzing the Allegations: Political Analyst Sizwe Mpufo-Walsh Delves into the Phala Phala Farm Scandal. In a recent report by Acting Public Protector Kholeka Gcaleka, allegations of President Cyril Ramaphosa's involvement in the Phala Phala farm scandal have raised several questions. Political analyst Sizwe Mpufo-Walsh takes a closer look at the report, addressing concerns about conflicts of interest, paid work, and the role of Major General Wally Rhoode. One of the key questions raised by Sizwe Mpofu is the issue of conflict of interest. Mpofu argues that when President Cyril Ramaphosa called in the Head of the Presidential Protection Unit, Major General Wally Rhoode, to investigate the theft at Phala Phala Farm, a potential conflict of interest arose. Mpofu questions whether the President called in Rhoode to protect a public resource or his own private interests. One of the key issues highlighted by Mpufo-Walsh is the moment when President Ramaphosa called the Head of the Presidential Protection Unit to report the theft at Phala Phala Farm. Mpufo-Walsh questions whether the president's intention was to protect a public resource or his own private interests. This, he argues, creates a conflict of interest that far exceeds the test in the Nkandla Judgment. Mpufo-Walsh emphasizes that the potential conflict lies within the president's duty to ensure the proper use of state resources for state advancement. On the other hand, there is a risk of him turning a blind eye to possible wastage if he stands to benefit personally from such indifference. According to him, the mere existence of such a risk is enough to prove a conflict of interest, regardless of whether it materializes or not. Mpufo-Walsh also raises concerns about the role of Major General Wally Rhoode in the Phala Phala farm scandal. The mysteries surrounding Major General Wally Rhoode's role further add to the complexity of the issue. Mpofu points out that the public deserves answers regarding Rhoode's actions and whether there was any undue influence or manipulation of the investigation. #Phalaphala #PhalaPhalaFarmGate #centralnewsza

[‘MATRIC DANCE’ ESCORT POLICE OFFICERS] The Provincial Commissioner of KwaZulu-Natal Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi has instructed that police officers who were seen transporting a learner to a matric dance function using a police vehicle in Estcourt be temporarily removed from operations pending internal investigation on their conduct. The officers, as seen in a video which has gone viral on various media platforms and social media, were on duty when they transported the child of a colleague to a matric dance event. In doing so, the members neglected their primary responsibilities of providing much needed police visibility, attending to complaints and keeping residents safe and secured. “I have instructed the District Commissioner of Uthukela to ensure that the immediate commander of the officers involved must take urgent disciplinary steps against them. We cannot afford to have police officers who report for duty but use state resources for their personal gain. I have further instructed our finance and supply chain management officers to determine the financial loss that the state could have suffered by that unauthorised activity. State petrol, state time and running cost of that vehicle should be claimed from those members. Communities always complain that when they call police stations they are told that there are no vans, whilst police officers are galavanting with state resources that are meant to serve the communities”, said Lieutenant General Mkhwanazi. Police are reminded to be professional at all times and protect the image of the organisation. The limited state resources should only be used for authorised official duties and anyone who is found to be misusing vehicles, stationary or any state property will be met with the wrath of internal police disciplinary processes and a criminal charge which might even lead to dismissal.

CASH-IN-TRANSIT HEIST RUSTENBURG Police have launched an investigation following a CITRobbery that occurred at approximately 16:40 on Monday, 16 February 2026, in Old Geelhout Park, Rustenburg. It is alleged that security personnel were travelling in a cash-in-transit vehicle along Kremetart Street when a Toyota Fortuner travelling in the opposite direction collided with the driver’s side door of the cash vehicle. The vehicle was forced to stop and was subsequently blocked by a Toyota Hilux (Legend) double cab bakkie. Approximately 15 armed suspects allegedly overpowered the security officers and instructed them to unlock the doors. 1. CDC scientists colluded to cover up a relationship between the timing of the MMR vaccine and autism in African Americans that was first discovered in November of 2001. Rather than reporting the results to the public, all data regarding this relationship were destroyed at a secret meeting held some time in August/September of 2002. This fact has been affirmed via an affidavit given by Dr. Thompson to Rep. Bill Posey in September, 2014. 2. Dr. Thompson attempted to warn the CDC Director at the time, Dr. Julie Gerberding, regarding this relationship, prior to the February 2004 Institute of Medicine meeting on vaccines and autism. Rather than allowing Dr. Thompson to present the information at this meeting, Dr. Gerberding replaced him as a speaker with Dr. Frank Destefano, current director of the CDC’s Immunization Safety Office, where he presented fraudulent results regarding the MMR vaccine and autism. Dr. Thompson was put on administrative leave and was threatened that he would be fired due to “insubordination.” 3. When Dr. Thompson attempted to leave the CDC later that same year, he was given a $24,000 retention bonus. Dr. Thompson’s impression of the timing of this bonus, in light of disciplinary actions taken against him earlier that year, is that CDC officials were “buying his silence” through controlling his actions as a CDC employee. 4. Dr. Thompson has published two papers linking thimerosal exposure in infant vaccines to tics in boys (Thompson et al. 2007 and Barile et al. 2012). CDC fraudulently maintains on their website that “There is no evidence of harm caused by the low doses of thimerosal in vaccines, except for minor reactions like redness and swelling at the injection site.” ( The tic result was also affirmed in the earlier CDC publication by Verstraeten et al. (2003) and the Andrews et al. (2004) publication. 5. CDC pressured Dr. Thompson to downplay the tic result of his analysis in his 2007 paper. He was instructed to deemphasize the tic result by the CDC’s Chief Science Officer, Dr. Tanja Popovic, by emphasizing that the “major finding of the study” was “there is NO associations (sic) of thimerosal exposure with the great majority of the outcomes.” Dr. Popovic also instructed Dr. Thompson to interpret any negative outcomes as “chance findings.” 6. CDC also pressured Dr. Thompson to withhold publication of his 2012 paper which reported a relationship between thimerosal and tics. Dr. Ed Travathan, head of the CDC’s National Center for Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities, stated in an April 27, 2009 memo to him that the analysis was sound except for the tic results and that they should be omitted from the publication. Since the tic result was the only result that had a consistent negative relationship with thimerosal exposure, it seemed that Dr. Thompson’s superiors were specifically concerned that thimerosal’s safety and use not be questioned. As an epidemiologist, Dr. Thompson was justifiably concerned and critical of the CDC’s action to approve the paper for publication only after the CDC took the extraordinary step of adding an expert in tics to water down the paper to state, “This finding should be interpreted with caution due to limitations in the measurement of tics and the limited biological plausibility regarding a causal relationship"

IG of Police Is a Blackmailer Who Plays to the Gallery – Osun Information Commissioner, Kolapo Alimi The Osun State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, has strongly criticised the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, accusing him of "playing to the gallery" during his recent visit to Osun State and alleging that his comments were politically motivated. Speaking during a podcast aired on Sunday in both Yoruba and English, Alimi described the Inspector-General as a "blackmailer" whose conduct was allegedly intended to serve the interests of the opposition APC rather than uphold professional policing. According to the Commissioner, the Inspector-General's public comments suggesting that Governor Ademola Adeleke was harbouring suspected criminals in the Government House were inappropriate and inconsistent with the conduct expected of the nation's highest-ranking police officer. Alimi said: "A truly unbiased and professional police officer would have discussed the issue with the Governor behind the scenes instead of making such uncomplimentary and unsubstantiated remarks in the presence of journalists. That was done in bad faith. That is a subtle blackmail to destroy the reputation of the Governor. That is playing to the gallery to seek public validation. That was unbecoming of a professional and diligent Inspector-General of Police. A diligent police officer should have got the touted criminals arrested before even coming to Osun if truly the Governor is harbouring criminals." The Commissioner maintained that the Inspector-General's remarks were biased and politically motivated, alleging that they were aimed at advancing the interests of the APC rather than ensuring impartial law enforcement. It will be recalled that during his meeting with Governor Ademola Adeleke last Thursday, the Inspector-General of Police stated that he had been briefed by the Commissioner of Police in Osun State that some wanted suspects, including Emir Ajagungbade, Nurudeen Alowonle, Solomon Adefioye (popularly known as Solo Iwara), Jide Jọda and other persons on the police wanted list, were allegedly taking refuge within the Osun State Government House, thereby preventing their arrest by the police. Governor Adeleke, however, rejected the allegation, insisting that no wanted criminal was being shielded within the Government House.
