I think both riders should be sanctioned, especially since it resulted in an accident. It is particularly dangerous to change so many lanes in the honestretch, unless it is safe to do so - obviously, it wasn’t. How do you win a race when you are 50% responsible for an accident?

How is there no DQ here? In California, they may have removed Iran and the horse from the premesis.
