Iran Before and After The published satellite images by Maxar have provided the clearest visual record of the consequences of Israeli strikes on key facilities of the Iranian nuclear program. The images clearly show damage to entrances, hangar ceilings, ventilation shafts, ground-based power and auxiliary structures. However, there are... no signs of penetration of deep buried contours. That is, the facilities were attacked, but the core of their physical structure, including halls with centrifuges and technical tunnels, most likely survived. This confirms earlier assessments: the Israeli aviation, despite a high level of training, did not have the means to hit objects located at depths of 60-90 meters in rock. Even the use of bunker buster munitions turned out to be insufficient - their power was enough to damage the entrances, but not to completely destroy the internal structure.show more
