I was asked by Al Jazeera English if Gulf states would make a deal with Iran in regards to Hormuz. Iran is making maximalist demands of the Gulf states (effectively pushing for full realignment) while simultaneously bombarding them with missiles and drones. This is hardly a convincing way to win them over. Therefore, if realignment is part of the equation, then I think not. *Also, I discuss how Gulf capitals view the European role in the war*
