In 2013, Sheldon Adelson, the late husband of Trump's largest donor, Miriam Adelson, called for the US to drop a nuclear bomb on Iran as a "warning" to show "we mean business." The hundreds of millions of dollars Trump received from the Adelsons came with the expectation that he would initiate war on Iran on Israel's behalf. Now, as the war Trump launched on Israel's behalf drags him deeper into a quagmire, the prospect of the US or Israel fulfilling Adelson's nuclear wish must be taken seriously. By attacking Dimona, Iran is sending a warning of its own, reclaiming escalation dominance in the face of Israeli nuclear blackmail.
