🇮🇱🇮🇷‼️ The Middle East is not calming down. We see different regional conflicts flare up and escalate. The war between the USA and Iran is on in a semi-hot state, with occasional bombings and insults, but it looks more like a war of (economic) attrition and will most likely not escalate into a full-fledged conflict again for a while. Will Israel and Iran stay in a ceasefire? Israel itself is not interested in a confrontation with Iran on its own. Israel wants Iran’s regime changed by others. To achieve this, Israel turns up the heat in Palestine or Lebanon at will, which triggers Iran and in turn flames up the whole conflict, leading to the US striking Iran again (which leads to retaliation, and so on). Especially since the situation with air-defense interceptors is difficult and the US is already basically in a war with Iran, I don’t see a need to escalate the conflict with Iran directly. If they want to, they’d do it indirectly via Lebanon, for example. In my opinion, yes, Iran and Israel will stay in a ceasefire unless Iran attacks Israel directly, which I don’t see. This will continue while other countries in the Middle East occasionally flare up in conflict.

A 21-year-old woman was kidnapped from her Bengaluru home by four men sent by her family after she married her lover against their wishes, triggering a dramatic car chase during which six people were injured after the accused rammed their vehicle into several vehicles. The woman, Pooja, from Rajasthan, married Om Prakash, 23, who is also from Rajasthan, around eight to nine months ago. The couple had a love marriage against the wishes of their families and subsequently moved to Bengaluru. According to Bengaluru Police, Pooja’s family, unable to accept the marriage, sent four men to their home in Agrahara Dasarahalli on Wednesday evening to take her back. The four men reached the couple’s residence and forcibly took Pooja away in a Hyundai Venue. Locals, after hearing her screams, attempted to stop the vehicle. The men then drove away recklessly, while some locals followed them in other vehicles. At around 8 pm, the car collided with several vehicles while trying to flee, leaving six people injured. The injured are undergoing treatment. One woman suffered a head injury and has been admitted to the ICU. The kidnapping triggered a chase, with locals following the Hyundai Venue and attempting to stop it. The vehicle was eventually stopped in a nearby locality after locals pelted the car with stones while trying to prevent it from escaping. An eyewitness said more than 20 people were injured in the incident and claimed that some people who tried to stop the car were attacked with a machete. Police, however, have so far confirmed that six people were injured after being hit by the vehicle. Police said some people were caught under the wheels as the men tried to flee after taking Pooja away. Pooja was rescued and handed over to the police. Police identified the four men who came to take Pooja as Saddam, Rakesh, Karan and Ayan. Saddam, who was driving the vehicle, is currently absconding. Rakesh, 31, Karan, 25 and Ayan, 18, all from Rajasthan, are in police custody. The Hyundai Venue used in the kidnapping has also been taken into police custody. Police are questioning Pooja and the other persons involved at Vijayanagar police station as they investigate the kidnapping and the subsequent vehicle collisions. Before every training session, the Sudanese national team lines up and the captain shouts "السودان يعيش" (Sudan Ya3ish) which means "Sudan is alive". This is a tradition that predates the war in Sudan but is a symbol that has taken on a whole new meaning in the last three years.
