Iran has publicly unveiled a domestically developed twin-engine transport aircraft, named Simorgh, designed by the country's HESA aerospace company. The aircraft is capable of transporting cargo, military equipment, and troops.

Right… This is basically a modified HESA IrAn-140, which itself is just AN-140 build using parts given to Iran by Russia. And the engines are Soviet Klimov TV3-117.

Funny. It’s actually a development of the Antonio An- 140 which Iran has been producing under license since 2008
