Facing them head on is the only way to gain respect. If they see you afraid, you are already prey. When you retreat one millimetre, they advance two metres, intimidating you with imprisonment or execution. Islam is not to be feared, it must be faced with courage.

I praise God for these courageous Christians in Iran. They boldly declare their faith in Christ and they know that they may be arrested and put in prison for their public worship of Jesus. A revival has broken out in Iran. May God continue to bring many to faith in Christ in the coming year. Let us pray for our brothers and sisters in Iran. Prayer: "Almighty God, we thank you for the many people who are coming to faith in Christ, in Iran, despite the great persecution of Christians there. We ask you to give courage to these new believers, so that they might boldly share their faith with others. Oh Lord, protect them and use them to share the gospel all across Iran. Let them be encouraged, knowing that their brothers and sisters in Christ are praying for them, and crying out to God for them, from many nations around the world. Those who did celebrate the attack are mercenaries and a small group of highly ideologically charged followers. The Iranian regime is attacking Israel and wants a war that will set the entire Middle East ablaze. With this, they want to show their supporters and their terrorist proxy organisations like Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis how strong they are.
