Because Muslims have been there so long and Iran has been under Islamic control for so long people assume that Islam is their religion. They don’t realize there’s a distinct difference between Muslims and Iranians in culture and in religion if anybody would do their research prior to let say Jimmy Carter’s admin, you would see that Iranians didn’t where are burkas and hijabs. In fact, it was often frowned upon and even banned in some places for women to wear them they mostly wore western style clothing in Iran. Imagine that. Also the women were beautiful the men very handsome. They had their own culture and style enjoying life as prosperous ppl before the 1970’s when they were taken over captured and conquered by the heavy hand of Islamic rule. Some even practiced western ideology and we’re Christians Christian in the definition of Christianity that we have here in the US and they weren’t killed for it as They once had a semblance of freedom of religion in there and humanitarian rights even though there was still some turmoil over there and some fighting because they weren’t a perfect nation, but they were a better nation a better people who had a better life, a free your life prior to Islam, conquering them and oppressing them. Before the revolution my brother and I went to a Christian Armenian school in Iran even though our father was “Muslim”. Once the Islamic republic settled in that was a problem. We went to church with my mom in Tehran. I loved it. I feared the Muslim parades, if you can call it that, during Ramadan.
