He says Iran’s military doctrine has shifted since the 12-Day War toward preemptive strikes. Iran will from now on strike perceived threats before they have the ability to attack. He says recent operations against US positions and anti-Iranian/separatist groups were meant both to deter future attacks and deny the enemy the initiative, and that this policy will continue wherever Iran believes it faces an imminent threat. A few hours later and Iran carried out a pre-emptive attack on US base in Jordan.
