The U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard currently have multiple aircraft deployed at the base. The two U.S. Army THAAD batteries deployed in Israel have not engaged any Iranian ballistic missiles in recent months, as the IRGC has not launched ballistic missiles toward Israel during this period. The wreckage therefore belongs to one of the THAAD interceptors launched during the Iranian ballistic missile attacks in March or April.
