And Chinese-made rocket mines that launch warheads upward from 200 meters deep when they hear the right engine signature. The U.S. can clear them. Unmanned drones map the sea floor. Helicopters tow magnetic sleds that trick mines into detonating. Remote submersibles attach charges to neutralize individual threats. The problem is time.
