🇮🇷| Iranian Foreign Minister: • Everyone should know that we pursued diplomacy, but the US and the Zionist regime launched aggressive attacks on Iran and its people, and we will use all our capabilities to defend ourselves. • It’s illogical to demand from Iran return to diplomacy • I don't know how much room remains for diplomacy after our nuclear facilities were bombed by the US & Israel. • The US is not diplomatic and only understands the language of force and threats. They have shown that they do not respect the international charter and international law and do not adhere to any of them. • NPT has failed to protect us. • I will head to Moscow to meet with Putin. Russia is a friend of Iran and we have a strategic partnership with it [likely to discuss Iran-Russia relations if/when Iran leaves NPT.]

Two of the three countries are members of the Security Council. They are also members of the JCPOA, and it is valid. 🔺If they valued the JCPOA, they should have condemned the regime's crime. Iran's nuclear program is the only program in the world that is legal under a Security Council resolution. These facilities are now being violated, and this is a blow to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. We expect them to focus all their efforts on stopping the violation and condemning the attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.

He also says they have to investigate a decision regarding IAEA inspectors. But why is he saying this? The Parliament passed a bill to stop cooperation with IAEA & it was accepted by the Guardian council & signed by the gov. It seems that Araghchi is looking for a way to bypass this and have inspectors on site. This was a mistake by Araghchi, and he’ll receive backlash for this.
