🇮🇷| Iran’s FM: Insistence on IAEA inspectors is to assess extent of the damage to our nuclear facilities. The damage to nuclear facilities is “serious”. He also says they have to investigate a decision regarding IAEA inspectors. But why is he saying this? The Parliament passed a bill to stop cooperation with IAEA & it was accepted by the Guardian council & signed by the gov. It seems that Araghchi is looking for a way to bypass this and have inspectors on site. This was a mistake by Araghchi, and he’ll receive backlash for this.

We will also announce Iran's other reactions in due course. • The negotiations and clauses of the agreement were approved by the SNSC, in accordance with the law ratified by the parliament. • IAEA (spy) inspectors will not be granted inspection yet. Iran’s Foreign Minister issued a pointed call to the United Nations and the IAEA, demanding they fulfill their duty to respond decisively to what it called a flagrant breach of international law: “Silence in the face of such blatant aggression will plunge the world into an unprecedented level of danger and chaos. Humanity has come too far as a species to allow a lawless bully to take us back to the law of the jungle. The Islamic Republic of Iran calls on the Security Council to convene an emergency session to unequivocally condemn the criminal act of aggression by the United States against Iran and to hold the administration in Washington accountable for its violations of fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter and of norms of international law. The responsibility of the IAEA and its Director General—who through evident bias in favor of war-mongering parties paved the way for the current violence and bloodshed—is now clearer than ever.
