The Nigerian government is sending people in Lagos back to their State of Origin. Let that sink in. They are dividing their own people, treating them as foreigners within their own country. This is not a policy of unity, it is a policy of exclusion. It is a testament to the deep-seated tribalism that has plagued Nigeria since independence. This is probably one of Biden's best ads I have seen. I want to know why anyone with relatives in the military would want Trump leading them into battle. If you don't respect those who fight for this country how can you lead those people in their fight for America? I know that generally the military votes Republican, but how can anyone reconcile a vote for Trump if they or their loved ones would have to look towards him to be their Commander in Chief?

When confronted by Reuters over his close advisors' undemocratic language and threats against non-Monarchists, he says that he is imposing stricter protocol that ensures that - in his words - they "censor themselves," which he says is unfair because it is an infringement of free speech. Read that again. He is not saying that their undemocratic thinking and approach is wrong. he says that they have to do a better job at hiding it, even if it's unfair to them. Yes, the people making death threats against non-Monarchists are the victims, in his mind. And then he makes additional excuses for them because they too have suffered at the hands of the Islamic Republic (which is true). But the bottom line then is that a) their undemocratic mindset is neither a problem nor wrong, b) they have to conceal it better by "curbing their statements" even if it violates their free speech, c) and that they have to do a better job pretending to be democratic and pluralistic by adopting its language, but not its meaning. This is why many view the Monarchists as a non-threat to the Islamic Republic, but a major threat - alongside the current theocracy - to a genuinely democratic opposition emerging from inside Iran.
