They examined the daily process of emptying the donation boxes and began to suspect theft. •Typically, each donation box contained around ₹6–7 lakh when opened. However, over several weeks, officials observed that bundles of ₹500 notes appeared to be short of the expected amount. •As suspicion grew, hidden cameras were secretly installed in the room where the cash was counted. •After reviewing a week's worth of hidden camera footage, officials allegedly found that employees involved in counting the money would deliberately stand in front of the visible CCTV cameras, blocking the view. Meanwhile, another employee would remove currency notes from prepared bundles and conceal them inside his clothing. This activity was captured by the hidden cameras. 2) Another Alleged Method of Theft* •According to the information received, the employees also used another technique. •While preparing cash bundles, they would intentionally include extra notes in each bundle.
