The president of the transit union, Sukhwinder Singh, told Regina’s mayor and council that the city’s brand new $2M electric buses are only drivable for 1.5-3 hours in the winter before their battery dies. Regina currently has 7 electric buses in its fleet with 13 more planned for delivery in 2026 as part of the city’s climate change action plan. Ltd. for the supply of 1,085 electric buses. Telangana Honourable Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy has consistently articulated a clear vision to position Hyderabad as a national leader in green mobility. On Sunday afternoon, in a drive at the Gourkanya Bus Terminus in Malda, names, logos and stickers mimicking those of government buses were removed from several private buses. Many private buses were operating with colour schemes (blue and white) and names resembling those of the state transport corporation. The use of such colours and names was causing confusion among passengers, particularly women. Following an order from the state government, free travel for women on government buses was introduced on 1 June. However, due to the visual similarity between government and private buses, many female passengers were inadvertently boarding private buses and subsequently getting hassled. Some private buses were displaying names like NBTS, MBTSG, and MMT to mimic the name of the North Bengal State Transport Corporation (NBSTC). Additionally, the vehicles were painted blue and white, just like government buses. On Sunday afternoon, Anupam Chakraborty, the regional transport officer (RTO) of the district, arrived at the Gourkanya Bus Terminus with transport department staff. There, misleading logos and stickers were removed from several private buses. Furthermore, markings and text imitating the state transport corporation’s branding were painted over with black ink. Passengers expressed relief at this move by the transport department. Yesterday's vote on the amendment to repeal the electric bus mandate made one thing clear: Senate Democrats are more interested in defending an ideological mandate than listening to school districts dealing with its consequences. My amendment would have repealed the electric school bus mandate and replaced it with a pilot study to see how and where these buses work – or don’t work. Instead, the Majority left schools on the hook for a mandate they know is broken. Our obligation as elected officials is not to protect a political agenda. It is to protect students, taxpayers, and schools. Yesterday, Senate Democrats chose the agenda.

A very interesting 13 Min documentary on the notorious and allegedly very dangerous nephews of Jacob Zuma "THE GCABA BROS" They have been allegedly committing crime and "putting people away" the cases all reach court will fall even thou they are directly link to them but for some reason they never get charged, Allegedly upto this day the police have not asked the GCABA brother who transferred money to AKA killers millions as to why he did it. Horror incident in Auckland last night when an electric bus crashed and caught fire, multiple people have been hospitalised, 16 fire trucks failed to put out the fire with flames reaching 4 metres high. Emergency services are as of this morning STILL trying to put out the fire which has been burning since 9.20pm last night with police saying “it’s an electric bus so it’s prone to reigniting” witnesses said it all seemed so fruitless trying to bring the blaze under control. Auckland Transport have 224 electric buses, all are Chinese-made by CRRC, Yutong, and BYD. The then Mayor Phil Goff introduced the buses as a commitment to Net zero- citing a Roadmap to decarbonize the fleet by 2035. Waymo is being marketed as a “Green environmentally friendly” because they are “all-electric, zero-emission vehicles” But take a look at this, the entire fleet here in Austin Texas is being charged with Diesel generators…. Just another scam Here’s something even more crazy, I looked it up and found that charging electric vehicles like this with diesel generators is actually WORSE for the environment than if you were to just buy and drive a gas powered vehicle So this means not only is it a scam, but it’s worse for the environment than just driving a normal car

OAU transport system was near perfect, adequate buses and bikes, we rarely experienced queues until the First Lady came and decided she didn’t like the ease of transportation and introduced “change” by donating CNG buses. The school management in turn banned all motorcycles and commercial buses on campus and subjected over 30,000 students to just about 50 buses and a few tricycles. OAU has one of the largest land masses of any Nigerian university, yet students are now stranded daily. This is a Monday morning where students are supposed to rush for class, but they are stuck at the campus gate because of the inefficiency of the CNG buses. Students are struggling to go to class in the morning and in the evenings to even get back to their hostels. Students staying off campus now spend almost double to get to campus, all alternative transport means have been removed The management have cars to bypass all of this, but majority of students do not. Yet they released statements talking about how the buses will “ease transportation” and even implied students appreciate the system. Meanwhile, students are trekking, missing classes, and spending hours in queues. Let it be clear that students do not appreciate this system. It has made our lives harder, not better. What used to be a smooth system has now become a daily struggle. There are many pressing issues in this school, but they chose to dismantle a working transport system and replace it with hardship. We can no longer remain silent. Let the whole world know what OAU students are going through.
