Some facts for those who are delighted that the Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Hapoel Tel Aviv match was called off yesterday evening. I spoke to friends who were there, who confirmed: 1. Unruly supporters of *Hapoel* Tel Aviv seem to have been dispersed by Israeli police using what Hapoel says were heavy-handed tactics that resulted in injuries. The fans wearing red that you have seen in videos were Hapoel fans. 2. *Hapoel* fans also threw flares/pyrotechnics onto the pitch before the match, which pretty much fogged up the whole stadium. The flares were in the colours of Hapoel (red and white). This video was taken by a friend of mine who was in the Hapoel stands. 3. As you can see at 1:10 in the video, the *Maccabi* Tel Aviv (blue and yellow) stands are not involved. None of the disturbances with police or throwing of flares seem to have involved Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters, much to the frustration of those claiming that it vindicates the Birmingham ban. 4. Even if they were, hooligans are present in the fan base of most clubs and British police are well used to policing football matches — far better it seems than Israeli police.

Man gets arrested for going for a walk at 6am with his autistic child. Taken down and cuffed with zero remorse from a Tyrant cop. Huge settlement in the end. Around 6:00 AM on Independence Day, John Sexton was taking an early morning walk through a public alleyway with his 6-year-old autistic son. They were approached by Watonga Police Officers Joaquin Montoya and Monty Goodwin, who claimed Sexton’s presence in the alley was "suspicious." When Officer Goodwin demanded Sexton's ID, Sexton explained he didn't have physical identification on him and argued he wasn't legally required to show it. Sexton stepped back slightly and pulled out his phone to record the encounter. Without warning, Officer Goodwin executed a leg sweep, taking Sexton to the ground directly in front of his 6-year-old son, before handcuffing and arresting him. Officers cited localized spray-painting and the early hour as grounds for the stop. However, under Brown v. Texas (1979), simply walking through a high-crime or tagged area at an unusual hour is considered "neutral behavior" and does NOT give police reasonable articulable suspicion to detain someone. Oklahoma is NOT a traditional stop-and-identify state for pedestrians. On foot, citizens are not legally mandated to hand over physical ID unless a specific underlying crime is established. Under 10th Circuit precedent (Morris v. Noe), executing a violent takedown on an unarmed, non-violent, non-resisting individual who poses zero threat is a Fourth Amendment violation—a standard made even more egregious by doing so feet away from a young child. Because the initial stop lacked legal foundation, the subsequent demand for ID, physical tackle, and arrest for "obstruction" were legally invalid from the start. All charges against John Sexton (obstruction and resisting arrest) were completely dismissed. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) investigated Goodwin's use of force and found evidence of misdemeanor assault and battery. However, the Blaine County DA declined to press criminal charges, citing the high legal burden of proving malice to a jury. Goodwin was initially fired by the city, and was briefly reinstated on a technicality over verbal vs. written warnings, and then resigned after another video surfaced showing him repeatedly punching an autistic 15-year-old during a separate call. Following massive public outcry and over 200 calls for accountability, Watonga's Mayor, Vice Mayor, and City Manager were all forced to resign. In April 2026, the City of Watonga officially settled a civil rights lawsuit filed by John Sexton for $150,000. Blaine County Sheriff Travis Doggett also publicly condemned the officers' actions, revealing Goodwin had previously been demoted within the Sheriff's Office after losing the trust of his own deputies. The school also appears publicly connected to TPUSA Faith organizing circles through local Hood County faith and political event materials listing Shawna Keomisy as “Director TP Faith Hub of Hood County.” Federal court records have now surfaced, involving the woman identified as the school’s founder and head administrator. Public records reviewed by me and my team show multiple name variations associated with Shawna, including Shawna Michelle Gunter, Shawna Michelle Keomisy, Shawna Michelle Oconnell/O’Connell, Shawna Boswell, Shawna M. Gunter, Shawna M. Oconnell, and Shawna Oconnor Gunter. I then matched this with Maryland issued social security information. Turning Point Academy of Granbury publicly identifies “Shawna” as Founder and Head of School. Federal court records show that Shawna Michelle Gunter pleaded guilty in a federal criminal case involving wire fraud and aggravated identity theft in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. According to federal records and plea materials, Gunter falsely represented herself as a physician assistant! And used altered or fabricated medical credentials, obtained employment at a pediatric medical practice, and provided medical care without a valid medical license or proper medical training. Federal filings state the conduct involved HUNDREDS of pediatric patients and prescriptions. The records further state that Gunter fraudulently treated patients - including infants and children - while operating under false medical credentials. Between July 5, 2013 and August 18,2013, Gunter worked as a physician's assistant under the direct supervision of Dr. Ramirez. Between August 19, 2013 and August 29, 2013, Gunter saw pediatric patients without any direct supervision. During this time she diagnosed and treated over 200 infants and children, including for sick visits, ADHD follow-ups, newborn visits and routine physicals. During she issued over 400 prescriptions for controlled substances. Court records show the federal case proceeded under United States v. Shawna Michelle Gunter. Sentencing filings show a federal sentencing hearing was ultimately scheduled before U.S. District Judge Richard D. Bennett. Federal records also indicate the court previously expressed concern about community safety prior to sentencing and referenced a documented history of deceptive conduct tied to the case. For roughly a decade, Beijing's working thesis on Asian energy security has been that the United States cannot credibly underwrite the region from outside the Persian Gulf, and that any Middle East flashpoint would therefore translate into political leverage for China — the buyer of last resort with the deepest stockpiles, the longest supply contracts, and the most flexible sanctions tolerance. The thesis has just failed three stress tests at once. First, the logistics held. Alaskan crude can reach Japanese refineries via Pacific routes about a week faster than Middle Eastern shipments, and Texas crude via Panama — as the Otis proved — gets there in 35 days. Tokyo is now actively weighing expanded Alaskan imports and a joint U.S.-Japan strategic crude reserve arrangement. Second, the political will held. Takaichi did not hedge. She unilaterally began releasing 15 days' worth of private-sector reserves from March 16, followed by a month's worth of state-held oil, and committed Japan to participating in the IEA's coordinated 400-million-barrel release, with Japan contributing 80 million barrels — 54 million in crude and 26 million in oil products. Third — and most damaging to Beijing's strategic narrative — China's own position deteriorated. While Tokyo was diversifying westward across the Pacific, Iran continued sending the bulk of the crude still moving — roughly 1.22 million barrels per day — to China, after a record 2.16 million bpd in February that was entirely destined for Beijing as it amassed reserves. The CCP's "energy security" turned out to be a deeper handcuff to a sanctioned, militarily degraded supplier whose primary export terminal — Kharg Island, the departure point for roughly 90% of Iran's crude exports — has been struck by U.S. forces. Beijing did not de-risk. It concentrated risk. And when Trump publicly pressured Beijing to help secure Hormuz on the grounds that 90% of Chinese oil flowed through it, Chinese state spokespeople were reduced to publicly emphasizing that the country had "enough" energy reserves — an answer that managed to be both defensive and, in strategic terms, an admission. The Honest Caveats Serious analysis requires acknowledging what the headline glosses over. The Otis cargo is, by Japan's own ministry, less than one day's consumption. U.S. crude exports cannot fully substitute for Middle Eastern barrels: industry analysts cited by Axios put the realistic monthly ceiling for U.S. crude exports in the 5.5 million bpd range, with Gulf Coast port and terminal capacity acting as a hard infrastructure limit. The Iran war has been genuinely costly — Brent crude topped $110 a barrel in late March before retreating to roughly $98 by late May — and the global growth picture has been marked down accordingly. There are also legitimate technical questions about crude grade compatibility (U.S. light sweet vs. Middle Eastern medium sour) that Japanese refineries will need to manage. The diversification away from Hormuz is real, but it is not free, not frictionless, and not complete. These caveats sharpen the conclusion. They do not invert it. The Strategic Bottom Line Three months ago, the Hormuz file was supposed to be the lever that pried Tokyo loose from Washington. The arithmetic looked plausible on paper: Japan and South Korea are the third- and fourth-largest destinations for crude moving through the Strait of Hormuz, behind only China and India. Pain there should, in theory, have created political space for Beijing. It didn't. The pain became the catalyst. A $56 billion energy package. A four-fold surge in U.S. crude bound for Japanese refineries. A Suezmax tanker easing into Tokyo Bay at dawn carrying 910,000 barrels from Texas. A trilateral Tokyo–Seoul–Washington cooperation framework formalized in the middle of a war Beijing was counting on to crack it. There is a lesson here for anyone still treating CCP economic statecraft as inevitable: leverage that depends on your rival having no alternative evaporates the moment one is built. Tokyo built one. Washington underwrote it. Trump is now broadcasting it. And the manifests in Yokohama harbor are the proof. The alliance held. The wedge failed.
