I once walked one of my neighbor's wolfhounds and at one point, he sat down. It was time to go and I pulled on the leash a bit and he just looked at me like "I'll get up when i'm ready, what the fk are you gonna do about it."

They're good dogs. Had a relative that had one and he was a good boy. Like Danes they just don't live very long, breaks your heart.

They are awesome dogs. Total gentle giants. Never seen a dog get their feelings hurt if you raise your voice. LOL. Winnie Sue is such a lapdog.

I babysat for a couple that had two of these things. Me: "Hey are these wolves?" Wolves: 👀 Owner: "No they are just really big dogs."

I'd love to have one but they don't live very long. I couldn't handle loving a dog and have it die 5-6 years later. At least I can get 13 to 15 out of a lab.

I have wanted an Irish Wolfhound ever since I came across Gelert's grave near Snowdon in 1969.

I had one. They're also Golden Labs without the energy. She always wanted to be near me, but often couldn't just because it was so much work to haul all that dog over to where I was. So I'd try to be near her instead.

My grandmother had one it saved her life. She fell in the canal & was getting dragged under "tucker the fucker" jumped in & saved her life. My grandad name him that because he kept mounting everything insight 😂

There's one in our village, stops to say hello to everyone. Reminds me of an AT-AT 😂
