🐶: Recently, it was Sion's birthday, and be bought the cake too. 🐰: I kinda like wish too, because they're so fresh and they debuted into a group full of older members, so I figured out that must've been tough, and I worried about them. That made me want to take care of them more.

The Haka nonsense is hysterical. Liberals love putting the Maori people on some sort of pedestal because they were in New Zealand before Europeans. You know another fun fact about them? They were cannibals. It wasn't until the 19th century with increased European contact through missionaries and the spread of Christianity that Europeans were able to stop them from ritualistic cannibalism. It took colonial governance to ban the practice. Without European colonialists, they would still be bashing their enemies over the head and eating them. Throughout history, the vanquished tribes that were allowed to remain put on dramatic performative shows of their culture, pretending like it is vastly superior. The reality is, if they reverted to Maori culture, most of the modern Maori people would hate it. Their fondness to the culture only highlights the storybook versionsof that culture and rarely the historical version.

I don't speak Hadzabe but I'm sure the man is talking about how difficult it is to hunt aardvarks because of how fast they dig. Aardvarks can dig a 2 feet hole in just 15 seconds. In fact, they're so good in digging holes and burrows that they don't sleep in a burrow for long. They may not sleep in a burrow for two nights. They just keep moving and dig new ones wherever they want to sleep. Their abandoned burrows serve as homes for warthogs, snakes, rabbits and so on. They're the real estate moguls of the wild.

Today was a difficult day. I had to comfort my learners as we were delivering a guard of honour to the fallen one. One of my darkest day since I because a teacher 10 years back. The Nova Music festival site left me completely undone. Hundreds of beautiful young people, aged around the same as my own children, were terrorised, raped, slaughtered and kidnapped on October 7th 2023. They were simply out for a good time in a beautiful setting. Rockets started early in the morning. Some fled to their cars and others took shelter. Hundreds of Hamas terrorists flooded in and ambushed them. Hunting them down and killing unarmed civilians who were there to dance. It was gruesome and bloody and savage. These Hamas terrorists inflicted pure evil. They stole the innocence and lives of so many. They showed no mercy. They are gutless wonders who pick on their own people, along with unarmed civilians, children and the elderly. They think they are doing Allah’s will and celebrate the slaughter of the innocent. Hamas must be destroyed. The memory of these beautiful young people must be honoured. Reading over 300 tributes on signs like these is one way to honour them.
