I genuinely want to understand why these attacks in particular that'll basically never see gameplay are so weak. I understand heroes that are in close quarters having less "melee" dmg, but some heroes have melee when it basically does nothing.

I noticed this because I tried in practice range a few months ago, but in Armor Overdrive it has literally 0 use scenario because you don't even need to reload
