“We never saw such behaviour in Alwal”, says a pained voice in this now viral video. This is apparently from Alwal area in Hyderabad, Telangana. A man claiming to be an RSS leader can be seen threatening a daily hawker who set up his temporary fruit shop in a vacant area, as always. This man comes and incites communal hatred saying it is mistake of the Hindus for allowing ‘these’ people to live and grow here. Luckily the customers there asked him to stop creating nuisance. Serious allegations of police brutality in Raidurgam Police Station of Cyberabad Commissionerate,Three Muslim Youths tortured while they were fasting : On 8th March at 12:20 AM near T-Hub opposite Niloufer Cafe, a cop allegedly slapped Mohammed Fazal Ur Rahman Akeef while he along with his freind was standing there, snatched his bike keys and phone, took them to Raidurgam Police Station, asking them to return in the morning to collect their bike. Next morning Fazal Ur Rahman Akeef along with Syed Areeb & Mohammed Sohail went to the Police Station. While waiting for the Inspector, they took photos of their bike & the police station board to inform their family. A cop allegedly ran towards them, snatched the phone and abused them for taking pictures. Soon after, the Inspector of Police Raidurgam arrived and called all three inside his room. After checking their Aadhaar cards, phones, driving licence and bike papers, the Inspector allegedly ordered the cops present to beat them. #Charminar Police Counsel 57 Youths for Violating Milad Procession Rules Charminar Zone Police have identified 57 youths for allegedly violating law-and-order guidelines during the recent Milad-un-Nabi procession. What is even more shocking is that the attack reportedly took place in the presence of the Inspector and Sub-Inspector of Police, Armoor Town. Since Sri P. Sai Chaitanya IPS took charge as Commissioner of Police, Nizamabad, there have been repeated attacks on members of the Minority community while the police administration remains a mute spectator. Telangana DGP Mr. C. V. Anand, IPS, today visited Khairatabad Bada Ganesh and sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha for the peace and prosperity of the people of Telangana. The DGP said that he has had a 13-year association with the Khairatabad Ganesh celebrations, beginning with his tenure as DCP, Central Zone, and has been overseeing the procession and immersion arrangements over the years. The immersion of Bada Ganesh is expected to be completed by the afternoon of September 25. He stated that around one lakh Ganesh idols are expected to be immersed across Hyderabad City and the other Commissionerates in the CURE area, with nearly 20,000 police personnel deployed for security and traffic management. Special teams have also been deployed with a focus on the safety and security of women. Across Telangana, Ganesh festivities have entered the final phase, with immersions taking place at various water bodies. Cranes have been arranged at all major immersion points and baby ponds, while traffic, security and other arrangements have been put in place. Telangana Police, along with all concerned government departments, has been working round the clock for the past 10 days and is fully geared up for the final immersion on September 25. The DGP appreciated the Utsav Samithis and the public for voluntarily coming forward to avoid DJs and firecrackers. He noted that excessive DJ sound can pose serious health risks and cause discomfort, particularly to devotees, children and senior citizens participating in the processions. He appealed to everyone to travel safely while proceeding for the immersions and extend full cooperation to the Police and other departments. Today, after spending nearly 5 hours tracing the family seen in the viral video from Janapriya Lakefront Apartments, I met Mrs. Shaik Naseema and her family members who alleged that they have been facing continuous harassment from the flat owner and certain apartment society members. Mrs. Naseema informed me that her two sons are working in Delhi and she staying with her second husband recently joined by a family friend, Ms. Prachee, who was forced to vacate her rented accommodation on Eid-ul-Adha, had been staying temporarily with her. She also stated that when she fell ill recently, her nephew Mr. Nadeem Ahmed came to assist her and take her for medical treatment. According to the family, objections were raised not only against Ms. Prachee's temporary stay but also against Mr. Nadeem Ahmed visiting his ailing aunt. Matters escalated when a group allegedly gathered outside the flat, threatened and abused them and started calling them as "Pakistani" "Pakistani Agents" and "Illegals" The viral video clearly shows Mr. Nadeem Ahmed courageously confronting those making such allegations and reminding them that his grandfather proudly served India as a Subedar in the Indian Army.
