Nice scan. Which app did you use?

It’s not my scan. Click the link I added to view the splat. From there, you can get to epigraph’s user page (where you’ll find more of their work). They used Blender to generate the photogrammetry. I don’t know what they used to train the splat. But SuperSplat for editing and PlayCanvas for rendering.

Will, I absolutely love what you and the playcanvas/supersplat team are doing for 3DGS. I can’t wait to see future compression improvements as well 😉

Thank you so much - the team and I really appreciate it. 🙏

It's the best and I wonder why giants like Amazon are not on full speed integrating it and tools for 3rd party sellers on their platforms.

definitely our conviction and the reason why we built @Doly_app It’s early but we think ecommerce is going to shift to this quickly : Thank you for building playcanvas and your amazing splat support by the way!

this looks amazing, is it a scan or synthetic ?

Photogrammetry was rendered in Blender, so it’s “synthetic”.

Seems to struggle a bit with the rubber - at the glancing angles it looks like translucent plastic. Can't complain at 12mb though!

I reckon we can get it down to ~3MB in the next few weeks. 🗜️
